Cllr Michael Long said: “This was a despicable incident. I do not know how someone could ever bring themselves to carry out a crime like this. It must be horrific to be subjected to such a robbery and those involved must be swiftly brought to justice.
“The local community will be deeply shocked at this incident. Anyone with information on the robbery should contact police immediately.”
