Alliance Councillor Michael Long has condemned an overnight attack on a local housing development.
The Clanmill Housing Association site in the Tudor Drive area of Lisnasharragh was targeted shortly before new tenants where due to take up residency.
He said: “Those behind this attack are only serving to damage their own community and I would appeal for them to recognise the detrimental affect their behaviour is having on their own community.
“Despite Clanmill’s belief that the moving date will be unaffected, this development will have caused a level of concern and fear that no-one should be faced with.
“This is an extremely disappointing development for all involved and I would urge anyone with information to contact the PSNI and hope to see those already allocated these properties able to move in without any further problems.”
