Lo supports Donegal Celtic community relations event

South Belfast Alliance MLA Anna Lo has praised Donegal Celtic football club’s pro-active work in encouraging people from ethnic minority backgrounds get involved in football. She recently hosted a Stormont reception to announce the event and has helped in its organization.

Anna Lo MLA stated: “I would like to praise the excellent pro-active approach of Donegal Celtic in trying to get more people from ethnic minority backgrounds to get involved in local football.

“I am also very pleased to have been invited to become involved in the organization of this event

“Northern Irish football has a bright future, not only on the pitch but off it, with events like this helping greatly to encourage more people from all backgrounds to get involved. Events like this not only greatly help to promote a shared future but also strengthens our local football clubs by encouraging more people through the turnstiles.”
