Lo says quick progress on fixing road hole needed

South Belfast Alliance MLA Anna Lo said that quick progress on fixing the hole in the road in Cromac Street is needed because Belfast ‘s traffic system is fragile enough without losing one of the main access routes to city centre.

Anna Lo MLA said: “While I know that having a chasm like this develop in a road is not an everyday occurrence, we cannot have any delay whatsoever in completing these repairs.

“Belfast ‘s traffic flow is poor enough as the best of times, and this problem must be remedied as quickly as possible to prevent any delays for commuters.

“You only have to look at the problems caused by any accident near the city centre where there can be massive delays around the rush hours, to see why we need this issue resolved urgently.”
