Anna Lo MLA said: “This is a real tragedy. Given the fact that it is coming up to Christmas, a number of businesses could suffer at a time that is meant to be their best of the year. I hope that all jobs can be safeguarded and that those areas of the retail centre affected can get back up and running as soon as possible.
“I want to praise the bravery of our firefighters for the excellent work they do and for their swift action in trying to tackle this blaze. They put their lives on the line and we should all be very grateful for the courage they show in keeping people safe.
“People are shocked at this incident and the authorities need to get to the bottom of this and find out the cause of this fire.”
