Anna Lo MLA said: “I hope that we will see a record turnout of people showing their support for the Belfast Pride parade. I would encourage everybody to come along, whether to take part in the parade or to just cheer on people along the route.
“Belfast Pride is an important annual event that helps tackle prejudice and promotes inclusivity. It has a key role to play as we look to build a shared society for everyone. Belfast Pride has achieved so much, however there still remains much work to be done.
“I would like to congratulate the organisers of Belfast Pride Week. I know many people have enjoyed the events that have taken place so far and I am sure that the parade will be a great success.”
