Anna Lo MLA said: “This was a cowardly and extremely traumatic crime. I feel for the family whose lives have been disrupted by these thugs and I hope they can get over this ordeal.
“Some cowards will stop at almost nothing to get their hands on cash. It is abhorrent to think that these individuals held children and adults at gunpoint, and one can hardly imagine the fear felt by this family.
“Anyone who can help the police with this case must get in touch with them to help take the perpetrators off our streets.”
