Anna Lo MLA said: “This is appalling news. There is no justification for attacking the home of a hard working elected representative.
“My thoughts are with Councillor Hanna and her family at this time and am thankful that she was not at home with her young family when this attack was carried out.
“How many more attacks on elected representatives, their staff and the PSNI will we have to suffer until Unionist politicians realise that the illegal protests they are continuing to attend are doing nothing but increasing fear and tension in the community.
“The Alliance Party will continue to work to find a lasting solution through peaceful means as we aim to achieve a shared future for all.”
