Cllr Alan Lawther said: “I am shocked and disgusted by those who left this device in Crumlin. I am extremely worried that it comes two days after a pipe bomb was found by a child in a primary school in Antrim. I just can not understand the thinking of those who have left these devices in Antrim and Crumlin.
“This has put the local community in a state of shock and fear. Nobody wants this violence on our streets, when will these people get that message?
“I would urge anybody with any information about this device to contact the police. These people must be taken off the streets by the police before somebody is killed by these devices.”
