Alliance representative Peter Lavery has condemned an attack on a Church in Lurgan, which Police have confirmed they’re now treating as a hate crime.
A brick was thrown through the front door of First Lurgan Presbyterian Church on High Street over the course of Tuesday or Wednesday.
Peter said: “It is extremely disappointing to hear of this attack, on a place of worship valued by so many in the area.
“Those behind this attack had no right to target what for many has always been a safe space and I would urge anyone with information to contact the PSNI as soon as possible.”
