Kelly condemns Toome shooting

Alliance Antrim Councillor Neil Kelly has condemned those responsible for a shooting which took place overnight in Toome. A shot was fired at a house on Elver Avenue, damaging a window. One man was inside the house at the time but was unhurt.

Cllr Neil Kelly said: “There can be no justification for this attack. There is no place for guns on our streets.

“Somebody could have been killed or seriously injured. The people responsible are a bunch of thugs who have no regards for the lives of other people.

“I would urge anybody with any information about this shooting to contact the Police.”
