Cllr Neil Kelly said: “This is sickening news and the local community will be shocked at this incident. There have been a number of pipe bomb incidents in the town in recent times and I am very concerned at this deeply worrying trend.
“People should be able to live free from harassment and intimidation, and those behind this must be brought to justice. I would appeal to anyone with information on this incident to contact police immediately.”
