The incident took place early this morning, October 22.
Councillor Neil Kelly said: “This was a disgraceful attack on a family home and I must condemn those responsible.
“My thoughts are with the family after this terrifying attack. The outcome could have been much worse and we must be thankful no-one was seriously injured.
“This type of behaviour is not welcome in Antrim and I must appeal to anyone with information to contact the PSNI as soon as possible. Those responsible must be apprehended before they have the opportunity to target others.”
