Cllr Maire Hendron said: “This is a shocking attack on this woman’s house. I am only thankful that she was able to get out injured and that it did not cause major damage to the house.
“This attack could have been much worse if the fire had caught hold and spread throughout the house. Those who threw the petrol bomb must realise the potential deadly consequences of their actions.
“The people behind this attack must not be allowed to do this again, so I would urge anybody with any information about this petrol bomb to contact the police.”
