Responding to the publication of a report by the Criminal Justice Inspectorate (CJINI) on the handling of domestic violence and abuse by the criminal justice system, David Ford MLA, as Justice Minister confirmed that the Department of Justice, the PSNI, and the PPS will now consider the recommendations made in the report and seek to address them as part of the forthcoming ‘Tackling Violence at Home Action Plan’.
