Cllr Barney Fitzpatrick said: “I was sad to hear of the house attacks that occurred in Coleraine.
“The McDaid family has endured enough without this thoughtless attack on their house.
“Those that threw bottles at these houses are adding nothing to our society. I do not know what they hope to achieve by attacking these houses. They do not represent the vast majority of people in the town who have showed their disgust at the murder of Kevin McDaid and showed support for the family.
“I would urge anybody with any information about these attacks to contact the police.”
