Cllr Fitzpatrick said: “I would totally condemn this attack. I hope that this attack did not happen due to the man’s nationality.
“With last week’s big US investment conference this is not the type of message we should be sending out to potential foreign investors. We should be welcoming people to our country instead of attacking them.
“I am very worried by the fact that there have been several arson attacks on the north coast in recent months and so I would hope that this was the last.
“I would also call on anybody with any information about this attack to cal the police.
