Alliance West Belfast candidate Sorcha Eastwood has said the shooting of a man on the Falls Road was a barbaric attack.
Sorcha Eastwood said: “There can be no excuse for bringing guns onto the streets of West Belfast. The shooting of a man on the Falls Road needs to be condemned without reservation. I hope this man makes a speedy recovery and I send him my best wishes.
“Anyone with information about this shooting, or other serious crime, should report it to the police on the 101 number, or anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
