Jayne Dunlop said: “I would encourage young people from every background to get involved in it to make sure that their voice is heard.
“This scheme provides young people with a positive way to put their views across to the police and allows them to have an input into decisions made about policing in Ballymena.
“I am very pleased that the police are engaging with this group and are taking their views into account. This scheme will hopefully decrease community tension and build positive relationships in the town.”
