Cllr Sara Duncan said: “I am shocked and saddened that two people have been killed in this accident. I would like to send my sympathies to the family and friends of these two men. This must be an extremely difficult time for their families.
“The Environment Minister must do more to improve road safety. We must ensure that no more lives are needlessly lost on our roads.
“I am very concerned at the number of people who have died on our roads in recent days in Northern Ireland and would urge all road users to take extra caution.”
