Pharmaceutical group Almac announced on Thursday the latest round of job creation – with the help of £5.5 million in grants from Invest NI.
Cllr Conrad Dixon said: “This is another great news story for Northern Ireland, signalling to the world that our economy is successful and ready to do business.
“This substantial investment will not only allow Almac to enhance its range of services on offer, but will also help local people by adding to the company’s already impressive strong employee numbers.
“Almac is a real success story in Northern Ireland and hopefully this latest announcement will encourage other well-known employers to look at our impressive work force and make Northern Ireland their desired location for business expansion.”
