Dickson condemns those responsible for letter bombs in England

Alliance Justice spokesperson, Stewart Dickson MLA, has condemned those responsible for four letter bomb devices that were sent to army careers offices in England on Thursday. Three other suspect packages were discovered earlier in the week. They were all safely dealt with by the Police and Army.

Stewart Dickson MLA said: “I am deeply concerned by this latest development. The people responsible for these letter bombs have no regards for the wellbeing of other people. Somebody could have been seriously injured or killed had they exploded.

“There is no justification for these attacks. Violence has no place in our society.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the Police and Army officers who put their lives at risk to deal with these letter bombs.

“I would urge anybody with any information about these devices to contact the Police.”
