Stewart Dickson MLA said: “There is no place for violence on our streets. The people responsible are attempting to intimidate the local community, but they will not succeed. Their actions are not wanted by the people of Carrickfergus or Larne.
“I am appalled by the activities of those behind this trouble. They are not adding anything to our society.
“I would urge anybody with any information about this trouble to contact the Police.”
