Police are treating the incident as a hate crime, after graffiti was painted on the walls of the building in Rasharkin.
Stewart Dickson MLA said: “Nothing will be gained through these types of attacks and I must condemn it.
“The thugs behind this incident have not only attacked a building, but struck out against everyone in the local community – with the majority wanting to move forward to a peaceful and tolerant future.
“I would urge anyone with information to contact the PSNI as soon as possible.”
