Alliance Leader Naomi Long has condemned those behind a death threat issued to an SDLP politician.
Nichola Mallon, who is six months’ pregnant, was sent the bullet in the post in recent weeks.
“I’m totally shocked by this threat and those behind it should be ashamed of themselves,” said Mrs Long.
“It is completely unacceptable a young mother who is pregnant should be put under this stress. I know personally what a frightening experience it is and the stress it places on your wider family.
“I utterly condemn those behind it and call on anyone with information to give it to the police immediately.”
