Curran shocked at move to put Botanic Inns into administration

Alliance Belfast Councillor Catherine Curran has expressed her shock after Northern Ireland’s largest pub chain Botanic Inns was put into administration. They run 14 outlets and employ 600 people.

Cllr Catherine Curran said: “I am shocked that Botanic Inns have been put into administration. They run some of our most popular and well known pubs.

“This is of great concern for the 600 employees.

“This chain has played an important role in Belfast’s night time economy which could be badly affected by this move. It could also have a knock on effect on other traders in Belfast who could see a drop in business.”
