Judith Cochrane MLA said: “This is absolutely great news. I am very pleased that the Housing Executive is undertaking this essential work. The new windows will hopefully help lower people’s heating bills because they will help improve energy conservation in the houses.
“It’s great that announcements like this are being made; however, there are still a number of issues as regards maintenance in relation to Housing Executive properties. The Housing Executive also needs to be in more frequent contact with elected representatives to keep them updated on maintenance issues and other general announcements.
