Alliance East Belfast MLA Judith Cochrane has organised a coffee morning that happened today to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support at Greenwood Primary School Parents Teacher Association meeting. Judith is chair of Greenwood PTA. This event was part of Macmillan’s world’s biggest coffee morning campaign
Judith Cochrane MLA said: “Cancer affects a large number of people in our society, many of whom can face financial problems because they may no longer be able to work.
“This is why I decided to take part in the world’s biggest coffee morning by organising our own event in Greenwood Primary School Parents Teacher Association to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
“Macmillan does excellent work in supporting those with cancer but they can only continue to do so with donations and fundraisers such as this world’s biggest coffee morning. I am proud to have contributed to their work today and I will be looking to do so again in the future.”
