Alliance Party Leader and candidate for East Belfast Naomi Long has condemned those behind a suspected petrol bomb attack in Clara Street.
Naomi Long said: “Whoever was behind this arson attack in Clara Street must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. There can be no excuse for this senseless violence. Lives could have been lost if the fire had spread to adjoining houses. I send my best wishes for a speedy recovery to the woman injured.
“Anyone with information about this attack should pass it to the police on the 101 number, or anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
