Cllr Duncan said: “Having been a guest at Lagan College’s 25th anniversary celebrations, I was disgusted to learn that the school will have to hire buses and replace equipment so that the pupils’education can continue without interruption on Monday.
“All schools struggle to survive, parents, staff and pupils work hard to raise extra funds, and this is the last thing any school needs, especially when end of year exams are about to take place.
I sympathise with the auxiliary staff and all who will be left to pick up the pieces after this senseless attack on the school.”
