Cllr Tom Campbell said: “I am disgusted that posters of my Alliance Party colleague Anna Lo, have been placed on this bonfire. It is demonstrating a complete lack of respect for other people. These actions will not stop Alliance working to build a shared future for all.
“I have already expressed my concern that this bonfire has received over £30,000 in funding from Newtownabbey Council and has also had problems with the inclusion of a large amount of tyres.
“I would call on the bonfire organisers to immediately remove these posters and show a level of responsibility and respect.”
