Cllr Yvonne Boyle said: “I was extremely saddened to hear of this death. I would like to extend my condolences to his family and friends.
“This was another life needless lost on our roads. It further highlights the importance of road safety.
“I would urge all road users to take extra precautions when they are on the roads.”
