Alliance Education spokesperson Chris Lyttle MLA has reminded parents of eligible children that it will soon be time to apply for pre-school or primary places.
If your child is starting pre-school or primary school in September 2019, you can apply for their place online from January 2, 2019 at 10am. Applications will close at midnight on January 31.
My Lyttle said it was never too early to start thinking about the application process.
“For the parents of children, this time of year is busy enough with Christmas fast approaching. However, it is still important to not forget the application for your child’s pre-school or primary school place so you can make the best choice for their education.
“Every child deserves the best start in life but children can easily miss out on one of their preferred schools because of a lack of information at the time of their application.
