Newcastle Alliance Councillor Patrick Clarke has warmly welcomed the completion of Clough Surgery as an expansion of health care and support services to complement the existing GP surgery in Dundrum. The new £1.5million state of the art surgery recently completed will open officially from Monday March 12th 2012.
Newcastle Alliance Councillor Patrick Clarke stated: “I welcome the very significant financial investment of £1.5million in new state of the art health care services through the recent completion of the new Clough and District Health care village.
“The new purpose built facilities at Clough will no doubt complement the existing surgery at Dundrum which has grown to caring for over 7,500 patients and was in need of more space for some time.
“The additional new surgery at Clough no doubt will provide a first class service to patients as well as expanding its outreach services, including dermatology, gynae and family planning clinic, and other additional new services within the Clough and District health care village building.
“I would like to wish the doctors and medical staff of Dundrum surgery success in providing an expansion of health care services to meet the needs of the locality and wider community who attend Dundrum and Clough surgeries.”
