Keith McGrellis said: “This was a sickening attack. A family were in the house at the time of the attack and thankfully they were uninjured. The callous disregard shown by those involved in this attack is shocking.
“Several homes had to be evacuated and this has caused real disruption to people’s lives.
“Our society is moving forward to a peaceful future and violence has absolutely no place in that. I would appeal to anyone who can assist police with their investigation into this to contact them immediately.”
