The Alliance Party Justice spokesperson was speaking after Ballytyrone Orange Hall was left gutted in the blaze, which began around 11.50pm yesterday (Thursday).
Stewart Dickson MLA said: “This was nothing more than mindless vandalism that should be condemned in the strongest possible terms. It was an attack on not just the users of the hall, but everyone in the community and indeed any right-thinking person.
“Nothing can be gained by these sorts of attacks. We need to tolerate and respect each other’s cultures and leave these senseless acts in the past, where they belong.”
