Long: No justification for attack on Police station

Alliance East Belfast MP, Naomi Long, has condemned a petrol bomb attack on a Police station in East Belfast at 11:40pm on Sunday night. Two petrol bombs were thrown at Willowfield Police Station, but no damage was caused and no injuries were reported.

Naomi Long MP said: “There can be no justification for this attack on the Police. Those responsible are just interested in mindless violence and do not have any regards for the consequences of their actions.

“Any attack on the Police is an attack on the rule of law and the local community.

“I would urge anyone with information about this attack to contact the Police.”
