Anna Lo MLA said: “There is no place for any type of hate crime in our society. I am disgusted that this attack has taken place. The people responsible are nothing more than thugs.
“We need to challenge the views of those behind these attacks and work out how we can tackle this issue. The Executive must respond to these hate crimes with specific actions to eradicate this problem.
“I would like to offer my full support to the people who were targeted in this attack.
“If anybody has any information about this attack then I would urge them to contact the Police.”
