Dickson condemns those behind Derry letter bomb

Alliance Justice spokesperson Stewart Dickson MLA has condemned those responsible for a letter bomb which was found in a Public Prosecution Service building in Derry on Monday. It follows two letter bombs addressed to senior police officers, which were found in postal offices on Friday.

Stewart Dickson MLAsaid: “I am deeply concerned at the callous and reckless actions of those behind this letter bomb.

“Lives could have been lost had this device exploded. Those responsible have no regard for the well-being of other people.

“I would like to praise the efforts of the Police and Army Officers who dealt with this device. They have put their lives at risk to protect the public.

“If anybody has any information about this letter bomb then I would urge them to contact the Police.”
