Cochrane says Concentrix jobs announcement will be a boost to local economy

Alliance Finance spokesperson Judith Cochrane MLA has welcomed the announcement by Belfast outsourcing company Concentrix Corporation that they will be recruiting 100 permanent and 150 temporary jobs after they secured new business contracts. The new staff will handle customer service and inbound sales for a global technology company.

Judith Cochrane MLA said: “This jobs announcement is good news for the local economy. Any substantial jobs boost, especially in the private sector, will be welcomed by all.

“As we attempt to move Northern Ireland forward following several difficult financial years, we should be doing all that is possible to help our businesses secure such global contracts.

“It is a healthy sign that Northern Ireland has been able to attract this contract. I hope other international companies will be similarly attracted to doing business here.”
