The South Belfast representative has said Saturday’s event will be a great day for all involved.
The Belfast Pride Parade will take place through the city centre tomorrow, leaving Custom House Square at 12pm and finishing at around 1.30pm.
Anna Lo MLA said: “Belfast Pride is one of the annual highlights on the Belfast calendar, attracting participants from across Northern Ireland and beyond. Events like Belfast Pride highlight the need to put an end to homophobic bullying and all other forms of discrimination in our society.
“I hope all those preparing to take part in the parade will have a great time, but would also remind those attending to remain safety conscious, ensuring they get the most out of the event.
“I would encourage as many people as possible to come down on Saturday and support the parade. Earlier this week I was proud to sit on the panel for Belfast Pride Talks Back and I will be along on Saturday to show my continued support for all sections of our society.”
