Lyttle pleased smaller PMS savers will get money back

East Belfast Alliance MLA Chris Lyttle has said he is pleased that smaller savers with the Presbyterian Mutual Society are getting all their savings back but said he wants to hear a guarantee that everyone should be able to get their full savings back.

Chris Lyttle MLA said: “This is positive news however I would like to see all savers being given a guarantee that they will get all their money back.

“This has been a very stressful time for savers with the PMS and I want to see a satisfactory outcome delivered for all savers. Progress has certainly been made but more still needs to be done to ensure everyone including those with larger savings can access their money.”
