McCarthy sadness at Carrowdore fire death

Strangford Alliance MLA Kieran McCarthy has expressed profound sadness at the death of a man in fire at a house in Carrowdore. The fire happened at a property on Manse Road and was reported at around 4am.

Kieran McCarthy MLA said: “The community is in shock at this extremely sad news. I want to express my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the man who died in this tragic incident.

“I want to praise the bravery of the authorities in their efforts to tackle the blaze. This is a sad day for Carrowdore and my thoughts at this difficult time are with the family of the man who passed away.”
