Lunn sickened at Lisburn pensioner robbery

Local Alliance MLA Trevor Lunn has expressed disgust at the three men who pushed their way into a Lisburn pensioner’s home and robbed her. The 77 year-old woman was robbed in her home on Windsor Avenue in the town after she answered the door at around 5.15pm yesterday.

Trevor Lunn MLA said: “This was a sickening and cowardly robbery. What sort of people would do this to a 77 year-old woman?

“This incident will have shocked the local community and people will want these thugs taken off our streets as soon as possible.

“These men are beyond contempt. People should be able to feel safe at home and this must have been an extremely traumatic incident for the victim. My thoughts are with her as she recovers from this appalling ordeal.

“If anyone has any information that could help catch these thugs they should contact the police immediately.”
