The East Antrim Assembly Member stated: “We are looking forward to a positive and productive meeting with Gordon Brown.
“There are a number of economic matters which must be dealt with. A key issue is the need to provide major fiscal incentives to attract more inward investment. This will ensure that we can compete on a level playing field with the Republic of Ireland.
“Obviously, from the evidence given to the preparation for government economic sub-group, major issues relating to the improvement of local infrastructure need to be addressed.”
