Simpson says Alliance is only real alternative to DUP in Castlereagh

Alliance Castlereagh by-election candidate Jonathan Simpson has said that the by-election has seen Alliance’s vote in the area more than double and said it shows that Alliance is the only alternative to the DUP in the area.

Jonathan Simpson said: “Our by-election vote has proved that Alliance is the only real alternative to the DUP in the area. Our positive and constructive politics has proved very popular.

“We have more than doubled our vote in this by-election and that shows people’s massive support for Alliance in the area. This has been a brilliant few days for our party and we are ushering in a new era in politics in Northern Ireland.”
