Stephen Farry stated:
“This is a huge tragedy not just for the police family but the whole community in Northern Ireland. These officers were out on a difficult night keeping the rest of us safe in our beds. Their deaths in such horrific circumstances is a major loss to us all.
“On behalf of the Alliance Party, I would express my deep condolences to the families of the victims of this most tragic accident.”
