She explained, “Strangford is a scenic, rural area and I thought that the best way to get out and about and meet people and introduce myself to the electorate would be to cycle around Comber.
“I think people are surprised to see an election candidate cycling around the place but with the great scenery in the area, it certainly beats driving around the place.
“Its great to be green able to go green on the campaign trail. I am really enjoying the fresh air and this spell of good weather has been very much appreciated as cycling in the rain would be a nightmare.”
