Mulvenna pays tribute to lifeboat crew following sea rescue near Larne

Alliance Larne Councillor Gerardine Mulvenna has paid tribute to the crew of the RNLI lifeboat crew who rescued an unconscious man from the sea near Larne last night at 22:40. He is in a critical condition in hospital.

Cllr Gerardine Mulvenna said: “I would like to pay tribute to the courage and bravery of this lifeboat crew. Their actions have undoubtedly saved the life of this man.

“The RNLI carry out what can sometimes be dangerous and difficult rescues, we all owe them a debt of gratitude for making the sea a safer place.”
