Belfast Deputy Lord Mayor, Alliance Councillor Peter McReynolds, has signed a book of condolence at Belfast City Hall in memory of Nora Quoirin, after her body was tragically discovered in Malaysia.

Speaking afterwards, Peter said: “This is a tragedy that has touched the hearts of many over the past two weeks, especially here in Northern Ireland with Nora’s mother Meabh being originally from Belfast.

“My thoughts and prayers are with her extended family at this time and I would encourage people to visit City Hall and pay their final respects to someone who has been shown through the media as a much cherished girl by all who knew her.”
